Extend title of this review: Manna Distribution Services is terrible and Leggett and Platt should be held accountable as for using them as their adjustable bed distributors.

Manna is the worst, most aggravating and terrible delivery service I have ever experienced. They are inferior in ever way and contract out to even worse local contractors. Read on for the details:

After my first bed arrived thoroughly damaged and a whole day late (by Roadrunner freight and Pace local New York delivery) I and Amerisleep (online company I ordered bed from and very helpful through this process) I worked with Leggett and Platt customer service (horrible) to get a replacement bed.

Once the replacement bed was finally approved (after several days, emails and calls) I had to contact several people within Leggett and Platt and Manna Distribution to get the replacement bed delivered. After multiple calls, emails and more calls I was finally a given a delivery date. The replacement bed never arrived on the date promised. There was complete chaos at Manna and Leggett and Platt in determining what when wrong. After several- well, more like 30 more emails and 10 phone calls and being on hold for up to 50 minutes at a time, I rescheduled delivery โ€“ again- for the next day. I never received the confirmation call the night before on the approximate the time bed would deliver (for the next day) . I called Manna the day of delivery to find out when the bed was due to deliver this second time and was given the runaround for the rest of the day. 40 minute hold times are the norm for this company. I finally was told by Ultimate Logistics the bed would arrive by 6PM that day. Here's where it gets a little tricky: Manna contracts with Ultimate Logistics who are just as bad a Manna if not worse. I called Ultimate Logistics and got a gentleman who said Manna was told several days prior that Ultimate does not deliver on Thursdays in my area โ€“ only on Fridays. Manna denies that they ever received the information. The Ultimate guy then gave me his cell phone and said โ€œcall me when they get thereโ€ and โ€œIโ€™ll be in touchโ€. Well, guy never bothered to pick up the phone the rest of the evening and he was apparently one of the owners of Ultimate Logistics! The crew from Ultimate didn't show until 8:30 pm (due to traffic that did not exist) and didn't leave my house until after 10pm. They used dirty gloves and left a nice dirt mark on off white upholstery. They could barely speak English (my husband speaks Spanish fluently which was real handy) and had to go back to the truck get another bed that happened to be on the truck. (Mind you this is all in the dark and my husband had to get a large flashlight for them to remove bed from the truck. These guys worked very hard but are completely overbooked by Ultimate who the next day blamed Manna and traffic for the late delivery.

Stay away from both of these organizations (Manna and Ultimate Logistics) who are rude, incompetent, and lazy. Their website and service promises are a complete falsehood- no white glove service here. As I write this I received a message Manna asking โ€œhow was the service?โ€ and I told them how horrible it was. I received a reply email saying โ€œso sorry- please explain what happenedโ€ I asked for the gentlemanโ€™s extension and in true Manna fashionโ€ฆno response. I emailed again asking if he wanted a copy of my reviewโ€ฆ.still no response 24 hours later. Canโ€™t make this stuff up, folks. If you want your blood pressure to rise and take almost a week off of work for a bed delivery just order an adjustable bed base from Leggett and Platt who will be sure to take their money, but you get nothing but aggravation from four different delivery services before you get a working adjustable bed. If it were not for Amerisleep customer service helping me work this all out I would have returned this Leggett and Platt bed the first week. The unprofessional, rude and incompetent Manna Distribution Services and their local delivery should be back charged for every day I took off of work (four full days) and the days of aggravation and abuse I put up with.
